innovative product to address its customers’ demanding requirements. The
Regional Standard
Barometer application consists of two of the world’s best
portable standards and barometers from Paroscientific, Inc., the creator of
Digiquartz® Technology.
The
Model 740 portable standards which are used in Technel’s Model
740-2s are a result of reliable design, meticulous manufacturing
and extensive testing prior to shipment and deployment.
This technology is used where long-term stability, high
resolution, accuracy, reliability, ruggedness and low cost of
ownership are important requirements.
TECHNEL’s Model 740-2 is an indispensable product for
airport instrumentation and for the calibration of other
lower cost pressure sensors.
The
Model 740-2 is packaged in a self-contained, compact, table top
case.
The Model 740-2 provides 0.01% of reading
accuracy and a 3 year stability warranty.
All readings are fully temperature compensated to ensure
accuracy under lab or field conditions. An RS-232 interface is
included for configuration control, or data logging. It is
powered either continuously from its AC adapter or for up to 72
hours from AA cells. Other pressure ranges are available from 0-15
psia to 40,000 psia.
